Responsibilities:
* Select, analyse, and strategically utilize keywords for use in website optimization.
* Put in place standard procedures to ensure compliance to SEO best practices.
* Help attain progressively improving page ranks for the various company websites.
* Help improve site traffic in accordance with marketing and product targets.
* Put in place tracking and analysis tools to help make web strategies and tactics relevant to goals.
* Maximize the utilization of social media and networking channels to help improve the visibility of company websites.
Requirements:
* At least 12 months experience and thorough knowledge of SEO practices and procedures, including but not limited to on-page/off-page techniques, understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword analysis, and use of networking channels to help obtain back-links.
* Demonstrable proofs in obtaining at least a PR4 result within a reasonable time for sensibly useful keywords.
* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web scripting/mark-up languages in the context of search engine optimization.
* Experience in the use of Google Analytics and other tracking and web traffic analysis tools, as well as having the ability to derive sound conclusions on the resulting statistics.
* Capable of working concurrently on multiple projects and simultaneous campaigns.
* Strong vocabulary and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in blogging, copywriting, and content development.
* Solid understanding of marketing, branding, and online promotions.
* Knowledge and experience in forum participation and use of social networking sites.
* Very good organizational skills and keen eye for detail.
Nice To Have
* Knowledge of Mandarin (written and verbal) and/or Chinese search engines, especially Baidu
* Use of advanced SEO tools and resources.
* Experience in the use and SEO configuration of different CMS and blogging applications like Joomla and WordPress.
